I'm a photographer, coffee lover, and proud mum of two amazing girls. I’m also the founder of the baby brand MOD & TOD – so yes, life is busy, but filled with all the things I love (especially when there’s black coffee involved… make it a triple shot!).
My journey into photography began after the birth of my first daughter. Motherhood changed everything – suddenly, the quiet, fleeting moments between me and my baby became something I had to capture. That’s when I fell in love with newborn and portrait photography.
These days, I’m lucky enough to do what I love – helping other families freeze time through honest, heartwarming images. No overwhelming props, just natural, timeless photos that capture your family’s connection, love, and story.
I’m so honoured to be invited into your world – even if just for a moment – to create memories you’ll treasure forever.
Along the way, my work has been recognised with the DCC Monochrome Award (2025), and I’ve been featured in publications like Pregnancy Bump & Baby and Gallery Lane.

Jo’s other halF
At Photography by Jo, I’m usually the one behind the video camera, creating heartfelt films for our newborn, maternity and family sessions. I’m also sometimes Jo’s second shooter, capturing the little in-between moments from another angle while Jo works her magic behind the camera.
My style is dreamy, slow-motion and a little bit cinematic. I love making films that hit you right in the feels, the kind that bring you back to the feeling of holding your newborn in your arms, hearing your toddler laugh, or soaking in this season of your family before it changes again.
Being a dad myself, I know how quickly children grow. One day they fit perfectly in your arms, and before you know it, they’re running ahead of you. That’s what inspires me to create films that capture more than just how everything looked, I want you to remember how it felt.
Outside of Photography by Jo, I’m also the co-owner of MOD & TOD, our baby and lifestyle brand. My background is actually in accounting and marketing. I’m a Chartered Accountant by trade, but photography and videography have always been my creative outlet. It’s where I get to step away from numbers and spreadsheets and tell stories with emotion, movement and light.
When I’m not filming, editing, or working on the business, you’ll usually find me with Jo, our two girls, and our much-loved Frenchie, Mochi.
For me, this work is about family, feeling, and preserving the little moments that pass far too quickly.
